Banana Fritters II.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Mix and sift dry ingredients.
  2. Beat egg until light, add milk, and combine mixtures; then add lemon juice and banana fruit forced through a sieve.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls and fry in deep fat.
  4. Drain on brown paper.
  5. Serve with Lemon Sauce.
