Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1⅓ cups flour
  • 2½ teaspoons baking powder

Method

  1. Mix as One Egg Cake. ( One Egg Cake. )
  2. Bake in round layer cake pans.
  3. Put Cream Filling between layers and sprinkle top with powdered sugar. ( Cream Filling. )

Method

  1. Cream the butter, add sugar gradually, and egg well beaten.
  2. Mix and sift flour and baking powder, add alternately with milk to first mixture.
  3. Bake thirty minutes in a shallow pan.
  4. Spread with Chocolate Frosting.
