Cream Pie I.
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1⅓ cups flour
- 2½ teaspoons baking powder
Method
- Mix as One Egg Cake. ( One Egg Cake. )
- Bake in round layer cake pans.
- Put Cream Filling between layers and sprinkle top with powdered sugar. ( Cream Filling. )

Method
- Cream the butter, add sugar gradually, and egg well beaten.
- Mix and sift flour and baking powder, add alternately with milk to first mixture.
- Bake thirty minutes in a shallow pan.
- Spread with Chocolate Frosting.
