Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Method

  1. Mix and bake as Cream Pie. ( Cream Pie. )
  2. Split layers, and spread between and on top of each a thin layer of Chocolate Frosting. ( Chocolate Frosting. )

Method

  1. Bake three crusts on separate pie plates.
  2. Put together with Cream Filling and dust over with powdered sugar.
  3. If allowed to stand after filling for any length of time, the pastry will soften.
