Chocolate Pie.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1½ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Method
- Mix and bake as Cream Pie. ( Cream Pie. )
- Split layers, and spread between and on top of each a thin layer of Chocolate Frosting. ( Chocolate Frosting. )

Method
- Bake three crusts on separate pie plates.
- Put together with Cream Filling and dust over with powdered sugar.
- If allowed to stand after filling for any length of time, the pastry will soften.
