Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 2½ tablespoons flour
  • ½ grated rind of orange
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Method

  1. Mix ingredients in order given.
  2. Cook ten minutes in double boiler, stirring constantly.
  3. Cool before spreading.

  • A double boiler is a bowl or insert set over simmering water.
